TIRSAT - Sylvan Learning Centers
AAEME, a division of EME International, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have an affiliation with Sylvan Learning Centers of Texas to administer our online test, the TIRSAT.
You will need to pay a fee to take the test at a site. The hours are flexible (but not like taking it at midnight with your slippers on) and the computer will be set up for you. Make sure that you bring your copy of the AMA Guides 4th Edition, paper and pencil and a calculator with you for the test. You must leave your cell phone with the proctor.
You will need to present a Physician Verification form to a Sylvan instructor before taking the test. You can access the form here. You will not be allowed to take the test unless you bring the Physician Verification form, your licenses and a copy of the AMA Guides book.
You should download and print the instructions for taking the online test. You can access the instructions here. You are allowed to bring a copy of the instructions to the site.
Contact a Sylvan Center to schedule your testing time so they can have a computer reserved for you. The computer will be ready and you can register online to get your student ID. If you want to register and have your student ID ahead of time, click here to do so and get your student ID.
As centers sign up to be a TIRSAT proctoring site, their address will be listed here. If a site near you is not listed, you can go to the Sylvan Learning website and enter your zip code to locate the one closest to you. Upon request, we will contact that Sylvan site to allow you to take the test there.
